I spent the last three days with my non-Christian nephew, Jordan, which made me realize the different life I have now with Christ. Looking at my nephew (who is my age) also made me want to evangelize, which was very good, but I just didn't know how I was going to approach him. I also got to go to Six Flags with him, which was fun. I'm happy because I was safe at Six Flags and because God reminded me once again about his grace and how the Holy Spirit works in us. PTL. -EJ

Today, God spared me from layoffs at work. We were one of the only studios in Tinseltown to have held off on layoffs 'til now. God is so merciful and gracious to me. I don't deserve it. None of us here knows what shall happen next, but whatever transpires, praise God I can rest in His steadfast love and faithfulness, and on His promise that all things work together for good (Romans 8:28). PTL. -Helen
God really rebuked my lack of patience and stubbornness. I have been getting into minor disagreements with people lately, mostly because of pride or miscommunication. Thankfully, the conflicts were resolved by openly discussing the situation, prayer and reflection. PTL for communication, patience and forgiveness (Ephesians 4:26). -Melody
Today, little one and I were able to video chat with my sister in the P.I. through Skype. It was only for 16 minutes because she had to sleep and we had to eat breakfast, but it was awesome being able to talk to her and see how things are going over there...little one misses her aunt. God is so good in giving us technology that allows us to talk across the sea. PTL. -Geneyem

Sometimes it's difficult to understand how God's Word is relevant to my life. I read His Word, and I know that it is truth, but sometimes I just don't know how it applies. Thank God that His Truth is not subject to my understanding and feelings, and that the Word is applicable in all situations all the time. PTL. -Jacquie
I was reading The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from The Living Dead by Max Brooks last night until about 2AM. I had to put the book down because I was freaking myself out. I couldn't help but start imagining zombies creeping up my stairs to come attack me. Zombies are kinda cool, but praise God they aren't real or else we'd really have to read that book to be fully educated with what to do when they attack. PTL! -RJ

I went on vacation last week. Originally, my sister was supposed to go with us, but she couldn't get off work. While I was still excited to go, I was also totally bummed because we would have had so much fun together! Well, I was able to have plenty of alone time and do things my sister would probably not have wanted to do with me. I also got to stop and enjoy God's beauty while in the middle of the ocean, and I got to spend more time in the Word. PTL. -Noreen
Family issues have kept my brother away and caused stress in my family. On Father's Day, he came to our house and shared a meal with us. Although it was hard for me to see him, I know God is working in my heart to love my brother and to continue praying for him. Despite the tense-ness, my dad had a great day, and he got to be with his son in peace. For this, I know God is working still. :) PTL. -Audrey
Ryan and I were supposed to be eating healthy, eating right, and exercising regularly. We made a pact, set our goals, and were doing really well until this past weekend. We treated our dad out for Father's day and took him to all you can eat korean BBQ, and boy did we splurge. Though we sorta passed the boundaries we tried setting for ourselves when it comes to food, we were able to bond and have fun with my dad. PTL! -RJ

This weekend was sooo amazingly full of blessings. Full of romantic dates and dancing, catching up with high school girl friends, a long awaited high school graduation of my super sweet, and super amazing (autistic) cousin Travis, a crazy fun wedding/road trip, a day of celebrating (Father's day, cousin's grad party, an early birthday celebration for my mom, and a backyard bonfire with s'mores, all on one day), my mom's birthday today, my big sister's sucessful Lasik eye surgery and recovery...and blessing galor. PTL! God is sooo good! -Ica
I got in a huge argument with my friend over Gchat and I just felt so incredibly angry, hurt, and bitter. The conversation was going in circles with more and more instances of past wrongs recounted but I remembered this blog and just started to praise the Lord in the conversation. I praised the Lord FOR angry conversations in which our hearts are tried so much and we see how little we resist sin in comparison to Jesus who resisted to bloodshed for US. PTL for stupid conversations where we're so busy trying to assert our rights that at the end of a meaningless exchange, we remember that we only win when we humble ourselves before the Lord and give up our rights as He did. PTL for reminding me of how praiseworthy He is even when I felt all emotions otherwise. -Shaina

I was on AIM and nobody really talked to me unless I started a conversation. I IMed 7 people and got only a few responses. The people who responded also didn't really want to talk, but I praise the Lord because in my time of loneliness, he gives me Christ and he also gave me my Christian brother Aljay who IMed me out of the blue, which is very abnormal. PTL for friends who will help you in your spirtual walk, and for Jesus Christ who suffered so much on the cross for us sinful scum. PTL. -EJ

Last month, I was diagnosed with pre-cancerous cells in my body. My insurance was ending in a week and I had to be referred to a specialist to get treated. I was scheduled to have surgery on the last day that my insurance would end. The night before the surgery, the doctor informed me that he could most likely not get the surgery done due to my current conditions. I prayed all night asking God to give me mercy and grace. The next morning, I was able to go in for surgery. God had really answered my prayers.
As I waited for the doctor to come in and see me, I was nervous and scared. My family didn't know about the pre-cancerous cells in my body nor did they know that I was going in for surgery that day. When the doctor walked in, he pulled out a sheet of paper. "These are your results from the procedure we performed last week," he informed me. "For some miraculous reason, we jumped the gun." I found out that the results had just come in and oddly enough, I didn't have to do surgery [for now]! He told me to check back in 6 months. The next day, my physician called me and told me he didn't understand it. He told me that this doesn't happen at all.
Whatever it was that happened, I definitely know it was God's hands at work in my life. PTL! -Jezzeri
