Last night, some residents and I initiated our weekly prayer and praise&worship gatherings. I was reminded of the importance of living a life set apart from the world. PTL for accountability and providing other believers to support in this spiritual warfare. -Melody

Tonight, Alex and Caleb came to help with the Irvine ministry bible studies that Julian and I initiated last year. Lots of thought-provoking questions were discussed and answered, our wonderful God was praised and the unchanging good news of the gospel was proclaimed! Today, I took the girls to the Diamond Bar Library for their storytime. It was amazing to see so many children with their parent, also prayerfully opportunities to build relationships for the gospel. PTL. - Geneyem

The update on my class adds: God totally blessed me with all the classes that I wanted for this quarter. Now to persevere through the quarter--one week down and nine more to go. PTL. -Jacquie

Following a successful bonfire with my hall, I went a night-time run with one of my residents where we began to discuss religion and the hope, peace and joy there is in Christ. I burned off some s'mores calories AND the gospel was shared. God is so good in providing opportunities! PTL! -Melody

Today at 2:20am it struck me that i've never said "i love you" to either of my parents. So i sent an email to them (they're in cambodia) and told them that. PTL for amazing parents. - Jet

We finally moved out of our apartment and we are now living with a church family. It's a bit strange living with another family but God has been blessing us so much with this family and we are able to fellowship with the parents and the kids more. PTL. - Geneyem

Today, I'm spending time with the older brother. God simultaneously reveals Himself through both quality time spent with Lance and the sights we spend them on. Plus, Lance keeps paying for our meals. PTL. -Julian

Last week, I began to worry about classes that I need, but didn't have. I prayed a lot, committing my plans and pursuit for this degree. God answered my prayers and blessed me with 2 of 3 classes. I'm still praying for the last one. PTL. -Jacquie

Today, I will be going to Redeemer Presbyterian Church to hear Tim Keller for the second week. I almost feel giddy because I admire so much the work God is doing through Him, and how well he presents God's word. Yesterday my friend and I managed to get into SNL and saw Megan Fox & U2, but this is even better and I get this every week. PTL. - Julian

My little brother has Down's syndrome and the only way to encourage him to get up and ready to go to school in the morning is by playing Hillsong United worship music. It is also a good way to start our day-singing praises to God. -Heidi

last week, my old college roomate accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It's bewildering and encouraging to already see him plant and water Jesus seeds amongst his family and relatives. I thank and praise the Lord for revealing Himself to Andrew and for answering my prayers. For those of you that have close family and friends that have not accepted Christ, I encourage you to continue praying for them. -Joshua

I was planning to go on a study trip with a few classmates to Japan for some weeks now. I was really looking forward to it as I don't get to travel much. But this morning I received an email that the trip was going to be postponed - or worse, canceled - due to H1N1 levels there not going down. I wasn't angry though, just a little disappointed but I let it go. And God gave me a very pleasant surprise. During the period which I am supposed to be in Japan, one of my favorite drummers - Dennis Chambers - would be coming to Singapore. I just found out about it and I'm very happy now. PTL - Jet.

P.S. pray that I'll be able to get tickets for the concert. :D.

So this week has just got me so exhausted by just the mere thought of it and I've been struggling to find some alone time with God just to quiet my anxious thoughts. With school and work and everything else I haven't had much of a chance to just rest in the Lord, but He convicted me today as I was walking past my brothers room and he was singing this:
